Hội Người Dân Đòi Quyền Sống

Trước tình trạng thê thảm của đất nước, nhiễu nhương của xã hội, đau thương của toàn dân Việt Nam nói chung và của Dân Oan Việt Nam bị cướp đất nói riêng và trước tệ nạn đàn áp tàn bạo của chính quyền. Chúng tôi những “Dân Oan Việt Nam" bị chính quyền cướp đất, phá nhà đứng ra thành lập:

Defend Livelihood Association (DLA)

Hội Người Dân Đòi Quyền Sống là một Tổ chức Xã hội Dân sự Độc lập, với mục đích đòi công lý cho Dân Oan Việt Nam chiếu theo Điều 25 của Tuyên Ngôn Quốc Tế Nhân Quyền bằng cách:

- Đòi bồi thường thoả đáng cho những người dân bị cướp trắng, bị thu hồi đất đai với với giá rẻ mạt, đòi lại đất đai, ruộng vườn và tài sản cho những người đã bị tước đoạt một cách bất công, yêu cầu Quốc Hội Việt Nam tu chỉnh lại các điều luật không thích hợp hoặc làm thiệt hại cho người dân.

- Đòi lại tự do cho những ai bị án tù oan sai do đấu tranh đòi quyền sống, đòi lại danh dự cho những ai bị truyền thông nhà nước thóa mạ hay kết án oan ức.

- Đòi đền bù thiệt hại tinh thần, thể xác và vật chất cho dân oan đã là nạn nhân của một nền tư pháp không công bằng và thiếu sáng suốt.

Chúng tôi đòi hỏi nhà cầm quyền phải thực hiện nghĩa vụ bảo vệ và thăng tiến các nhân quyền đã được quy định trong Tuyên ngôn Quốc Tế Nhân Quyền, trong hai Công ước Liên Hiệp Quốc về các Quyền Dân Sự, Chính trị, Văn hóa, Xã Hội và Công Ước Nhân Quyền Đông Nam Á mà nhà cầm quyền Việt Nam đã cam kết thực hiện khi gia nhập làm thành viên.

Chúng tôi mời gọi mọi người Việt Nam có ý thức về sự công bằng, tinh thần đoàn kết, biết rung cảm trước những mảnh đời bất hạnh, biết tuân thủ pháp luật công bình, kính trọng các công ước quốc tế về quyền con người, muốn xây dựng đất nước Việt Nam thành một quốc gia Dân chủ Pháp trị, trong đó nhà cầm quyền phải biết tôn trọng người dân và người dân được hưởng các nhân quyền và dân quyền căn bản, gia nhập hội để cùng chúng tôi đấu tranh cho các mục tiêu này.

Các thành viên của Hội Người Dân Đòi Quyền Sống luôn luôn tâm đắc và tôn trọng nội quy mà hội đã đề ra:

- Đoàn kết, thương yêu, đùm bọc lẫn nhau
- Trau dồi đạo đức nhân bản, tinh thần vị tha bất vụ lợi
- Giữ vững ý chí đấu tranh bằng phương pháp hòa bình nhưng kiên quyết
- Học hỏi những giá trị cao đẹp được đề ra trong các văn kiện quốc tế về Nhân Quyền
- Cùng nhau hành động cho một nước Việt Nam trong đó ai ai cũng được tôn trọng nhân phẩm, được lắng nghe tiếng nói, được phát triển bản thân và gia đình, được góp phần vào việc xây dựng quốc gia xã hội.
Mời quý anh chị em gia nhập hội. Người gia nhập hội có thể dùng tên, bí danh hay nick và các phương tiện liên lạc như Phone, Email, Skype, vv.... để đăng ký. Chúng tôi sẽ không công bố danh tính của hội viên khi chưa được sự đồng ý của hội viên. Người gia nhập sẽ là thành viên chính thức của Hội sau khi được chấp thuận của Ban Điều Hành(BĐH) sáng lập hội.

• In the face of the tragic situation of the country, the social turmoil of Vietnam, the sufferings of Vietnamese people in general and of the victims of the land grab in particular.

• In the face of the government of Vietnam exploiting and brutally suppressing its citizens.

We are the victims of land grab and home destruction directed by the Vietnamese authorities, hereby founding:

The Defend Livelihood Association (DLA)

It is an independent Civil Society whose goal is to bring justice to Vietnamese Land Grab Victims based on Article 25 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights by demanding:

- Proper compensation to those whose land was seized or who were compelled to hand over their lands, crop growing fields, etc. in exchange for a miserly compensation, or other victims of unfair expropriation. Requesting the National Assembly of Vietnam to modify or amend inappropriate laws and regulations that disadvantage the people.

- Release of those who have been unjustly detained, particularly those fighting for the rights to livelihood; demand the restoration of dignity to those whom the government-controlled media slandered and abused, or the court system unfairly convicted.

- Compensation for physical and mental harm, and material damages for all victims of the unjust and tortuous Vietnamese judicial system.

We demand the authorities to uphold and promote the respect for the human rights specified in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in the United Nations Covenants on Civil, Political, Economic, Cultural, Social Rights, and the Southeast Asian (ASEAN) Human Rights Covenant- that Vietnam promised to abide by when it became a signatory member.

We urge all those Vietnamese people with a sense of justice, spirit of solidarity, and compassion for the downtrodden; with the desire to comply with just laws; value the international covenants on human rights; to transform Vietnam into a democratic country complying with the rule of law, in which the authorities must be responsive and accountable to the governed, its citizens entitled to all basic human and civil rights, and they are free to join our association and to work together for reaching the above goals.

The members of DLA strive to work in harmony and always follow its established constitution and By-Laws:

- Solidarity, love, and mutual support

- Honing one's humane ethics, altruistic spirit and non-profit goal

- Determination to engage in peaceful advocacy while being resolute

- Learning the valuable concepts specified in the international human rights declaration and covenants.

- Working together to bring about a Vietnam where everyone's dignity is respected, voice is heard; its citizen has the opportunities to develop one self and his/her loved ones, and to contribute to the improvement of his/her country and society.

- You are invited to join. You can join our Association by putting down your names or nicknames using the social media such as phone, Email, Skype, Facebook, …etc…to communicate with us. We will not announce or publicize the names of the members, if not allowed by the members. The applicant will become our member once approved by the Managerial Committee of the Founders
